Built around
human possibility.
A confident, optimistic identity for the people moving work forward. Rooted in Africa. Ready for what comes next.
Get the brand assetsSerious about work.
Optimistic about people.
Hirebrew connects a candidate’s first conversation to an employee’s next chapter. The identity should feel like that connection: open, capable and unmistakably human.
Handoff brings two folded bands into one connected form. The open channel between them keeps each part distinct while the interlocking silhouette suggests shared work and forward progress. It represents people supporting one another, from the first conversation to the next opportunity.
One mark.
A connected system.
A recognisable shape at every scale, from a browser tab to the front door.
Protect the shape.
Keep clear space of at least one quarter of the visible symbol’s height around the mark and wordmark. Preserve the bands’ proportions and the open channel between them. Measure from the artwork, not the SVG canvas.

- 16 px, dedicated mono asset
Use the monochrome version when only one ink is available and the reversed version on ink backgrounds. The compact 22 px mark is reserved for incidental product-demo branding. Never stretch, rotate, outline or add a glow. Avoid placing the logo on detailed imagery.
Room to think.
A clear next step.
White gives the website breathing room. Dark green guides action. Soft pastels help people find their way.
Select a swatch to copy its hex value.
Give each colour a job. Use dark green for primary website actions, soft green for secondary actions, and pastel aqua, yellow, pink, lime, lavender and blue for distinct product surfaces. Keep text in website ink.
Contrast is part of the system. Pair dark-green buttons with pale-green text. Use dark text on light surfaces. Keep body text at a minimum contrast of 4.5:1 and large text at 3:1. A colour never carries meaning alone.
The artwork keeps its identity.
These original colours belong to the Handoff logo and connection pattern, not the website’s buttons or page backgrounds. Use the supplied artwork without recolouring it.
One typeface.
A clear point of view.
DM Sans across every website page. Open-source, locally hosted and confident at every size.

A candidate deserves a reply. An interviewer deserves context. A growing team deserves a clearer way forward.

Use sentence case. Set body text at 16 px or above. Keep paragraphs to around 65 characters per line. Test names and local-language content before adding new language support.
Connection,
made visible.
Offset Handoff bands create a repeat. A small vocabulary with room to grow.
Use it as a frame, not a filter. The connected bands work on campaign covers, presentation dividers and welcome materials. Crop confidently. Preserve the bands’ proportions and the breathing room between repeats.
Protect the reading space. Put text on a flat colour field beside the pattern. Never run it behind forms, product screens or long paragraphs. One expressive moment per view is enough.
Sound like someone
you would work with.
Clear, not corporate.
“Your interview is confirmed.”
Not “Your talent engagement milestone has been successfully facilitated.”
Helpful, not all-knowing.
“Here’s a draft. Make it yours.”
Not “AI has found the perfect candidate.” AI assists. People make the decisions.
Optimistic, not overclaimed.
“Build your team’s next chapter.”
Not “Guaranteed to transform every hire.” Be specific about what works today.
A visual language
that respects people.
The experience matters more than the decoration. Every visual choice should make work easier to understand.
Product first
Show real screens and actual workflows. Label concept visuals. Do not invent customers, outcomes or compliance badges.
Focus is visible
Use clear keyboard outlines and 44 px interaction targets. Rail tooltips use bold white text on an ink background, visible on hover and focus. The active rail item has a translucent grey outline.
Motion has a purpose
Use 180 ms for control feedback. Reserve longer transitions for explaining a change. Honour reduced-motion preferences. No decorative endless animation.
People, with agency
Use consensual, real-world African photography when available. Show people doing meaningful work. Avoid stock diversity theatre and robot-led AI imagery.
Learn from the best.
Look like ourselves.
